The “Method for Extracting Interference Signals Based on Broadband Spectrum” applied by Xinjiang Astronomical Observatory was awarded the invention patent certificate granted by the National Intellectual Property Administration, PRC. The patent number is: ZL 2015 1 0542046.0.
The patent aims at high-repetition wideband spectrum in spectrum monitoring. It realizes high-precision signal-to-noise separation for wideband spectral sequences and effective extraction of interference signals, which provide an algorithm basis for interference signal feature statistics. The patent can be applied to an automated radio wave environment monitoring system to provide algorithm support for statistical analysis of signal characteristics of large aperture radio station.
The patent relies on the program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China “Research on Radio Frequency Interference Platform Test and Site Protection Technology Based on FPGA Backend” and 973 Program “Key Technology Research on 110-m Aperture Fully Steerable Radio Telescope”. The patent was completed by senior engineer Liu Qi, professor Chen Maozhen and other scientists from Microwave Technology Laboratory of Xinjiang Astronomical Observatory.
