The supporting system of Xinjiang Astronomical Observatory is composed of the Computer Technology Department and the Library.
The Computer Technology Department is in charge of informatization of the observatory, including the construction and maintenance of computer, internet and website. And it also undertakes scientific research tasks which are related to radio astronomy, such as backend, virtual observatory and astronomical image processing.
The Library is in charge of ordering, registration, cataloging, arranging and borrow of the journals as well as books from both home and abroad. And it is also responsible for the opening of electronic resources, literature reviewing and document delivery, etc.
