Research Interests:

My primary research focuses on the formation and evolution of galaxies. Utilizing data from ground-based optical telescopes and space-based observatories, my recent work has concentrated on three main areas: (1) the stellar population properties and the physical and chemical conditions of star-forming regions in nearby galaxies; (2) deep Ha imaging surveys of nearby galaxies; and (3) the interstellar medium of the Milky Way and its neighboring galaxies.
